Meet the new NIJL engineers: Rob and Mark

We recently reinforced our engineering team with two new engineers whom we would like to introduce to you: Rob Westenbrink and Mark Verlinden.

Lead engineer Rob Westenbrink

Rob is the new lead engineer at NIJL and is responsible for the engineering department. Rob was trained as a mechanical engineer and has worked in various segments of engineering, such as steel construction and in valves and manifolds for oil and natural gas.

Rob: ”I really enjoy working for NIJL because of the tailor-made access solutions that NIJL provides. Every project has its own challenges that need to be solved. Though the products have similarities to things I did in previous jobs, there are some differences. I look forward to learning new techniques in the industry that was quite unknown to me before joining the NIJL team.”

Engineer Mark Verlinden

Mark Verlinden started in the job role of engineer and works in Robs team. Mark completed his study Industrial Product Design and gained a lot of knowledge in previous engineering jobs.

Mark: “What convinced me to join NIJL is the fact that it is a small business but close team with focus on customer-specific solutions in multiple interesting industries (aviation, rail, power & process). At NIJL I have the opportunity to be close to the entire project process and to improve the NIJL product and myself. My drive is to solve technical challenges. In the upcoming time I hope to learn a lot about NIJL's various access solutions and to work on some great projects together with the engineering team.”
